LinkedIn is a general professional network. StreamerPeople is specifically for screen editors with verified streaming credits. Every editor on the platform has been individually vetted - you won't find unverified or inactive profiles here. Production companies can browse and contact editors directly without sifting through thousands of irrelevant results.

What are the membership requirements?

To apply as an editor you must: be at least 18 years old; have a public IMDb profile; have a minimum of two verified credits on approved streaming platforms; provide accurate information about your projects, roles and credits. Any accreditations listed must be genuine and you must have permission to display them.

Which streaming platforms count?

Accepted Answer

We accept credits from the world's leading streaming platforms including Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, Peacock, Hulu, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, Stan, Binge, TVNZ+, JioHotstar, Sky, Now and more. The full list is available on the application form.

How does the verification process work?

When you apply, our team individually reviews your IMDb profile and streaming credits. We may ask for additional information during the review process. Meeting the minimum credit requirement does not guarantee membership - approval is at our discretion to maintain the quality of the directory.

How much does membership cost?

Editor memberships are available at £20/month or £180/year. Prices shown in your local currency at checkout.

Who can see my profile?

Accepted Answer

Your full profile - including show titles, awards, credits and direct messaging - is only visible to verified production accounts. Your profile is not publicly searchable on Google in full detail. Only verified companies, broadcasters and streaming platforms can view and contact you directly.

Can I pause my membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes - you can pause your profile at any time from Account Settings. When paused your profile is hidden from the directory but your account remains active. You can resume at any time.

Can I cancel my membership?

Accepted Answer

Yes - you can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your profile is removed from the directory but your account and all your data is saved. You can reactivate at any time and your profile will be instantly restored.

Can I delete my account and data permanently?

Accepted Answer

Yes - if you would like your account and data permanently removed, you can delete your account from Account Settings. Your account will be soft-deleted initially and permanently removed after 30 days. During that 30-day window you can restore your account by logging back in. After 30 days all your data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. For data deletion requests email privacy@streamerpeople.com.

Can I control what information is shown on my profile?

Yes - you manage your own profile and can update your credits, bio, photo and other details at any time. You choose what to display.

What happens if I am rejected?

If your application is unsuccessful we will let you know by email. Rejected applications are retained for 12 months for fraud prevention and then deleted. You are welcome to reapply if your credits change.

Is StreamerPeople free for companies?

Yes - production accounts are completely free and always will be. You can browse the editor directory, post job listings and contact editors directly at no cost.

How do I sign up as a production account?

Visit streamerpeople.com and click Join as a Production to create your free account. All production accounts are reviewed and approved by our team before access is granted.

How do I find an editor?

Once you have a verified production account you can privately browse the editor directory, filter by role, location, platform, accreditations and more, and contact editors directly through the platform's messaging system. Editors cannot see who has viewed their profile.

What does "verified" mean?

Every editor on StreamerPeople has been individually reviewed by our team. Their streaming credits have been verified against their IMDb profile and they have met our minimum credit requirements. You can trust that every editor you find on the platform has a genuine track record on the major streaming platforms.

How do I post a job listing?

Once you have a production account you can post job listings directly from your dashboard. Listings can be made public or kept private to verified members only.

What is the concierge matching service?

Our concierge matching service is available to selected production partners. Submit a brief and the StreamerPeople team will hand-pick a shortlist of verified editors for your project. Please note that the concierge service is a matchmaking service only - we are not an agency and do not represent editors. We create introductions between productions and editors and it is the responsibility of the production to conduct all due diligence including reference checks and contract negotiations. Yes - once you have a verified production account you can message editors directly through the platform. All messages are private and secure, visible only to you and the recipient.

Who can see my production profile?

Your production profile is private and not visible to other users on the platform. It is only shared with an editor when you initiate contact or post a job listing.

Yes - StreamerPeople takes data privacy seriously. We comply with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act and CCPA. We never sell your data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
