Nell Brooker is a television editor with almost 30 years' experience crafting stories across factual entertainment, documentary, reality and competition formats for broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery, Amazon and Netflix. A self-confessed television obsessive from an early age, Nell's career has taken her from documentaries and lifestyle programming to some of the UK's biggest reality and entertainment formats. Her credits include Last One Laughing, Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars, Next Level Chef, Married at First Sight UK, Grand Designs, I Kissed a Boy, The Great Explorers with James May, Escape to the Chateau and Chateau DIY. Known for her strong storytelling instincts, character-led editing and creative use of music, Nell particularly enjoys finding the emotional heart of a story, whether that is in a documentary, a competition format or a reality series. Of British and Trinidadian heritage, she is passionate about diverse voices and stories that connect audiences through humour, emotion and authentic human experiences. Alongside her broadcast work, Nell is co-founder of Pivot Film, creating cinematic property films and branded content for clients in the UK and abroad.
